Terms and Conditions

1. Services

Notable Moments Notary (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides mobile and remote notary services, apostille facilitation, fingerprinting, estate-planning notarizations, document courier services, translation services, real estate–related document support, and general document verification services.

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, withdraw, or discontinue any service without notice.
     
  • Decline service at our discretion, including for safety, compliance, or conflict reasons.
     
  • Cancel or reschedule appointments when necessary.
     

2. Financial Transactions & Payments

  • Fees for services must be paid at or before service completion unless otherwise specified in writing.
     
  • Payment is accepted through secure third-party processors. We do not store full credit card details.
     
  • All sales are final once services have been performed.
     
  • Additional fees may apply for travel, shipping, after-hours service, wait time, cancellations, or document handling.
     

Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Appointments canceled less than 24 hours in advance may be charged up to 100% of the service fee.
     
  • Once a notarization, apostille submission, translation, or courier service has started, fees are non-refundable.
     

3. Apostille Facilitation Disclaimer

Notable Moments Notary is a facilitator of apostille processing and does not issue the apostille itself. Final approval is determined by the government agency.
Processing times are estimated and not guaranteed—delays caused by state offices, mailing carriers, or clerical issues are outside our control.

4. Document Handling & Storage

We do not retain client documents beyond the time required to complete the service. Once verification or submission is complete, documents are securely destroyed or returned to the client.

We are not responsible for:

  • Errors that exist in the original documents provided
     
  • Delays caused by incomplete, inaccurate, or missing information
     
  • Third-party delivery or government processing issues
     

5. User Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree that:

  • You are legally authorized to request notarization and document processing.
     
  • All information you provide is accurate and truthful.
     
  • You will not use our website or services for fraudulent, illegal, abusive, or harmful activity.
     
  • You will not engage in harassment, discrimination, hate speech, spam, or abusive behavior.
     

We reserve the right to terminate service or block access for any violation of these rules.

6. Website Use & Accuracy of Information

We strive to keep information accurate but do not warrant that website content, pricing, or availability is error-free, complete, or current.
We are not liable for:

  • Website downtime or service interruptions
     
  • Technical errors, delays, or outdated information
     

Use of site content is at your own risk.

7. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All website content—including text, graphics, logos, designs, videos, forms, and downloadable materials—is the property of Notable Moments Notary and protected by copyright laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, modify, republish, resell, or distribute content
     
  • Use any content for commercial purposes without written permission
     

8. Translation Services – Idiomatic USA LLC

When ordering translation services facilitated through Notable Moments Notary 

  1. All translations and services offered by Notable Moments LLC are governed by their general Conditions of Sale. The client accepts these terms when approving a quote.
     
  2. Prices do not include taxes where applicable.
     
  3. Fees may be periodically revised.
     
  4. Delivery costs for documents sent physically rather than electronically will be charged to the client.
     
  5. Services must be paid within 30 days of delivery.
     
  6. Clients must notify Idiomatic of any material changes promptly; adjustments may affect pricing and delivery deadlines.
     
  7. If the client modifies the order or fails to provide necessary materials, delivery dates may be changed; Idiomatic is not responsible for delays or damages.
     
  8. Documents should be provided digitally whenever possible.
     
  9. Notable Moments will not correct errors in original documents but may notify the client.
     
  10. Notable Moments LLC is not responsible for content in translated documents; opinions and statements belong solely to the client. Idiomatic may refuse documents considered illegal, obscene, defamatory, or inappropriate.
     
  11. Clients are responsible for the legality of all content submitted.
     
  12. All project information is treated as confidential except when required by law.
     
  13. Claims must be submitted within 30 days of delivery; after that, Idiomatic accepts no liability.
     
  14. Clients must provide legible documents and any necessary terminology guidance.
     
  15. Quality is guaranteed; errors must be reported within 14 days with supporting evidence.
     
  16. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
     
  17. Interpretation cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be billed at 100%.
     
  18. A late fee of 4% per week will apply to balances after 30 days.
     
  19. Idiomatic may recover reasonable legal fees for unpaid invoices.
     
  20. Idiomatic is not liable for losses arising from third-party providers or subcontractors.
     

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Notable Moments Notary is not liable for:

  • Financial loss, delays, or damages caused by third parties or government agencies
     
  • Errors in original documents or client-provided information
     
  • Misuse of any service or website content
     

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Revised versions will be posted with an updated effective date.

Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Return and Refund Policy

At Notable Moments Notary (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we strive to provide high-quality professional services. Due to the nature of our work—handling time-sensitive legal documents, scheduling travel, working with government agencies, and providing personalized services—most fees are non-refundable once services have been initiated or completed. Please read the following policy carefully.

1. General Refund Policy

All payments for notary services, apostille facilitation, fingerprinting, courier services, document preparation assistance, and translation services are final and non-refundable once the service has begun, including travel or administrative processing.

A refund may be issued only if the service has not yet started and the appointment is canceled within the allowable cancellation window listed below.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Standard Appointments

  • Appointments canceled more than 24 hours in advance may be eligible for a refund or free rescheduling.
     
  • Appointments canceled less than 24 hours in advance may be charged up to 100% of the service fee.
     
  • No-show appointments are charged in full and are not eligible for refund.
     

Mobile Travel Fees

Travel fees are non-refundable once the notary has departed for the appointment.

Apostille Facilitation

  • Once a document has been submitted to the state or shipped for processing, no refunds will be issued.
     
  • Government rejections caused by errors in the original documents are the responsibility of the client, not the notary facilitator.
     

Translation Services

Due to the custom nature of document translation:

  • Translation services are non-refundable once translation work has begun.
     
  • If an order is canceled before work starts, only up to 50% of the fee may be refunded to cover administrative and scheduling time.

3. Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Dissatisfaction with legal outcomes or processing timelines controlled by government agencies
     
  • Missed appointments or lack of required ID
     
  • Client delays or failure to provide required documents
     
  • Incorrect information supplied by the client
     
  • Government office closures or shipping carrier delays
     

4. Service Guarantee

We take pride in providing excellent service. If you believe an issue occurred due to our error, please contact us within 72 hours of the service date.
We will review the situation and determine if corrective action is needed.
